About
It all started when...
I went on a student exchange to Australia. My host parents were both chiropractors and I was not only inspired by their healthy lifestyle but more so by a simple truth I discovered at the time. "That the body is self healing and self regenerating and has all that it needs within it to be the best it can be. It has an inborn intelligence that regulates every function".
Originally from Germany, I completed the 5-year Chiropractic degree at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic (NZCC) in 2013. Early on during My studies I found a passion for Research and have been working as a Researcher at the Centre for Chiropractic Research (CfCR) at NZCC since 2010. Now I manage the CfCR Research clinic and coordinate the research Lab.
After graduating, I started chiropractic connection, my private practice, in which I have been privileged to have worked with many individuals and families to improve and enhance their function, health and well-being through chiropractic care. Aside of being in practice, I have started lecturing the evidence based chiropractic paper to the 1st years at the college.
As a Chiropractor, I aim to provide a highly individualised thorough level of care and incorporate a range of techniques to suit your individual requirements. These include manual Diversified, Gonstead and drop table adjusting as well as sot, bgi, extremities, upper cervical specific - toggle recoil, activator and neuro emotional technique.
It’s humbling to be able to make a positive change in someone’s health and life. That’s why I love what I do!
I first found out…
about chiropractic when I met Jens, he had just moved to NZ to start his chiropractic degree. I had been nursing for three years by then but was already looking for something else that I could do. I wanted to have more of an impact on keeping people healthy.
Over a few months I learnt more about chiropractic and decided that it was exactly what I was looking for so I enrolled to start the degree the next year. I have kept nursing while studying but love being able to change someone’s health and well-being naturally with chiropractic.
